I'm celebrating a couple things right now. It's Earth Week and I'd like to do something for that. My family has had some good news recently in the job department. And I've been going through some changes myself and a lot of reflection. With all of that I'm changing the look of my blog and I'm going to be adding some new changes to it over the next few months. I'm always happy to hear ideas if you have any. And with the changes I'm hoping to do a couple things. One of the things being is to bring awareness on a couple issues. The other is something I'll share at a later time once I get the idea fully mapped out. I'm also hoping to be able to voice ideas here on our upcoming move later this year and how to really become more ecologically friendly when we get where we're going since we've fallen to the wayside a bit being where we are.
A pair of cloth diaper inserts from SweetBottoms. One overnight hemp insert and one regular insert. The overnight insert is two layers but can be folded to give 8 layers of protection. The regular insert is two layers and can be used just for that extra bit of absorption in your baby's diaper when you need it.
There are a couple ways to enter the drawing:
Become a follower of my blog and post a comment here on how you and your family are becoming more green and what your plans are for Earth Day.
Post about the giveaway on a board where you frequent and post the link in a separate comment.
Post about the giveaway on a social site you frequent like Facebook or Twitter and post a link for that as well.
So, that's three separate entries to try and win this pair of inserts.
A winner will be drawn on Monday, April 26, at noon. Please be sure to check back then for the winner and also to make sure there is a way I can get in touch with you if you are the winner. I had trouble on my last giveaway with that. So, I can't stress that enough. Shipping is to the US only. And I will be doing some other giveaways in the following months as well. :-)
I am following you :)
ReplyDeleteWe are becoming more green by getting a rain barrel this summer :D I can't wait.
I have a load of events planned for Earth Day, but I think as a family we'll keep it low key :) Relax, right?!
I follow your blog. =)
ReplyDeleteWe've made a few green changes recently. We started recycling, we cloth diaper, and are looking into greener food choices like grass fed beef and CSAs.
For Earth Day I plan to start our hanging gardens with the help of my toddler.
I follow! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know what we'll do for earth day. Perhaps start our container garden! :)

I follow your blog publicly and we are starting to use cloth diapers to be more green and save money with our new baby (due in June). We are making disciples among youth workers and I will be spending earth day with one of the women I work with and then be tweeting at the cloth diaper twitter party. :)

ReplyDeleteWe just started a compost pile and have been adding to it daily!
I follow your blog! My husband and I just had our first baby 3 weeks ago and we're keeping him in cloth! This is our biggest green change as of recent. For Earth Day, I mostly posted articles and blogs about cloth diapering via facebook. Not much mobility with nursing a 3 week old :) just lots of one-handed typing!
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog.
ReplyDeleteWe cloth diaper full time as a way to be green, but something my hubby and I talked about on Earth Day to go even more green is to recycle. I'm embarrassed to admit we don't recycle, but I really think we are going to start up.

ReplyDeleteAs a family we are using CDs, using cloth napkins, and trying our best to only buy what we need.
I wish we could do more but right now it is hard living in an apt building.
I cannot wait to have a house only two years left until this happens.
Following your blog!
ReplyDeleteWe have made a lot of changes to become more green since our son was born 13 months ago. We cloth-diaper our son and started using reusable shopping bags/water bottles. For Earth Day this year, we took our son to our city's celebration and let him run around in the rain. :-)
I had the stomach flu Earth Day but my daughter/10th class picked up garbage in our town
